A 3-d printed c up holder insert for the cruiser and some sweet Antenna mounts for the back. The antenna mounts are spendy but they are the best mount you can get for the 80 series and now I can install my CB and HAM antennas out of the way and out of my line of sight!
Like so
Plus a cast Iron pan condom. So that’ s nice.

I have two of those cast-iron condoms. Well, mine are fabric and both are camouflaged. If I ever drop one while camping, it’s a goner.

I’ve just been using a chamois rag I use for all the things around camp...which is honestly fine when camping. This will be nice for cooking around the house.

I keep them in the drawer next to the stove except when camping. There’s a reddit group for cast iron cooking. When I discovered it there were a ton of posts from people who grabbed the hot handle without protection, complete with pics of blistered hands. It was like a rite of passage or something.

I’ve never burned myself on a pan...probably because I’ve burned myself so many times on my dutch ovens.

C ast iron pan condoms are a necessity. I have skimpy silicone pac-man things, that are not quite up to the task to bring a hot pan from the outside grill into the kitchen. They are about six feet short from a distance/burn perspective, but I occasionally try anyway.
Need to get the necessities.

I’ve burned my hands working at a couple of different restaurants, but the only time I’ve burned them at home was from grease popping.
My wife has the insane ability to grab tortillas off of the comal with her bare hands. She laughs at me when I do the sensible thing and grab a spatula.

Wait. There are now Cast Iron Pan Condoms? I mean we’d never give up our “little bundle of joy” (pictured below) but the concept of Skillet Planning didn’t occur to us...

Do you also have a 3D printed solution for the terribad cupholders in the GX?

Ive never grabbed one that hot, but have done the “it’s not hot” until I’m halfway across the kitchen to the dinning room, and there’s no where to put it down, and o h God, it's getting hotter by the second, I forgot about cast irons specific heat, shit shit shit. Yeah, good times

Nice! I’ve been a huge fan these guys:
They’re made by Hide & Drink . They have worn in very nicely and were pretty cheap if I recall. I’ve had the one on the left for about a year and the other one since the end of last year. I love ‘em.
Looking forward to see how the cruiser mounts work out too!
